Dosage
The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed the medicine differently. Follow the instructions for use, otherwise the medicine will not work properly!
a) For dissolving and preventing the formation of new uric acid stones
4 measuring spoons (= 10 g granules) daily in Take 3 single doses after meals.
1 measuring spoon every morning and at noon and 2 measuring spoons in the evening after meals.
The pH value of fresh urine should be within the following pH range:
Uric acid stones: pH 6.2 – 6.8
At pH values below the specified range, the daily dose should be increased in the evening by half a measuring spoon.At pH values above the specified range, the daily dose should be reduced by half a measuring spoon in the evening.
The correct dose is found when the pH value of fresh urine is always within the normal range. before taking the preparation Range.
For metaphylaxis of uric acid stones, regular monitoring of the pH value of urine is recommended.
b) To prevent the formation of new calcium-containing kidney stones
the daily dose is 2-3 measuring spoons (= 5-7.5 g granules) and should be taken as a single evening dose. If the pH value is too low, take 3-4.5 measuring spoons (= 7.5-11.25 g granules) per day in 2-3 divided doses during the day after meals.
