Medical device ZatoClear Med. Irrigation is helpful especially in the case of acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, allergic or infectious rhinitis, before and after nose and sinus surgery, during periods of increased exposure to particulate matter suspended in the air (smog) or in the workplace, as well as to maintaining proper hygiene of the nose and paranasal sinuses.
How to use
Irrigation should be done using a special bottle included in the ZatoClear Med Irrigation starter kit.
- Rinse all parts of the bottle with warm water before first use. Wash and dry your hands.
- Pour the contents of one ZatoClear Med sachet into the bottle. Irrigate and top up with boiled water (at body temperature) to the level of the marked line.
- Close the bottle tightly, cover the hole in the cap with your finger and shake the bottle several times until the substance is completely dissolved.
- Stand over the sink in a slightly bent position. Place the tip of the bottle against one of the nostrils.
- Smoothly squeeze the bottle so that the solution enters the nasal cavity. Breathe calmly through your mouth throughout irrigation. The solution will flow out of the other nostril.
- Repeat for the rest of the solution by putting the bottle to the other nostril.
- After irrigation, gently blow your nose.
- Discard any unused portion of the solution. Rinse and dry all parts of the bottle before storing.
Rinse should be carried out 1-2 times a day or as directed by a doctor. One sachet of ZatoClear Med. Irrigation combined with approx. 240 ml of water creates a ready solution for rinsing the nose and sinuses.
