Grintuss is a product based on honey and molecular complexes that have a protective and, consequently, soothing effect on the upper respiratory tract. It works on dry cough, combating irritation of the mucous membrane, and on wet cough, promoting hydration and removal of mucus.
Grintuss Adult tablets were developed using innovative extraction and production processes that allow for the concentration of polysaccharide, resin and flavonoid fractions responsible for the mucoadhesive and protective effect on the mucous membrane.
The honey present in the composition affects this effect and gives the tablets a pleasant taste. Grintuss is a product containing ingredients from organic farming and gluten-free.
Composition
Active substances:
– Honey*;
– Molecular complex of resins, polysaccharides and flavonoids from grindelia*, plantain* and helichrysum* (Poliresin); designated for polysaccharide content (molecular weight > 20,000 Da) ≥ 20%
It also contains: cane sugar*; gum arabic; natural peppermint and eucalyptus flavor; peppermint and eucalyptus essential oils.

Action
Grintuss Adult tablets protect the mucous membrane, soothing irritation, moisturizes and promotes the elimination of mucus using the following mechanisms of action:
– Barrier effect: creates a thin protective layer that adheres to the mucous membrane and protects it from contact with irritating agents
– Mucus-regulating effect: promotes the moisturization of mucus and contributes to its removal
– Moisturizing effect: reduces friction at the level of the throat that causes coughing
Dosage
It is recommended to take 1 tablet 2 to 4 times a day, leaving it to slowly dissolve in the mouth.
