Mukopect Control hard capsules are a drug from the group of mucolytics. Contains carbocisteine, which facilitates expectoration. The medicine is intended for adults.
Compound
The active ingredient of the drug is carbocisteine.
1 hard capsule contains carbocysteine 375 mg.
Excipients: corn starch, pregelatinized corn starch, magnesium stearate. Capsule shell: titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E172) and gelatin.
Dosage
Always use this medication exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any doubts, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Capsules should be taken orally with water. The last dose should be administered no later than 4 hours before bedtime.
The recommended dosage of Mukopect Control for adults is initially 2 capsules 3 times a day, and if symptoms improve, take 1 capsule 4 times a day. You should drink more fluids during treatment.
Do not take the medicine for more than 4–5 days without consulting your doctor.
Action
Mucopect Control contains mucolytic carbocysteine. It reduces the viscosity of mucus in the respiratory tract, making it easier to cough up.
Indications
Mukopect Control is used for the symptomatic treatment of respiratory diseases accompanied by excessive secretion of thick and viscous secretions.
Contraindications
Do not prescribe the drug to people with an allergy to carbocisteine or any other ingredient. This allergy may manifest itself as: rash, difficulty swallowing or breathing, swelling of the lips, face, throat or tongue.
Contraindications to the use of Mukopect Control are stomach or intestinal ulcers.”
