Advilmed 100 mg tablet is a medicine composed of ibuprofen , a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It has an antipyretic and analgesic action .
It is indicated in children between 20 and 30 kg to relieve pain such as headaches, dental pain, aches and painful periods. It can also be used during a flu condition to reduce fever.
Each tablet of Advilmed 100 mg contains 100 mg of ibuprofen. The excipients are composed of corn starch, anhydrous colloidal silica, pregelatinized starch and stearic acid.
The coating contains sucrose, macrogol 600, pregelatinized starch, povidone, polysorbate 80, talc, calcium carbonate, red iron oxide (E172), titanium dioxide (E171), carnauba wax and black ink Opacode S-1-17823
Dosage of the drug Advilmed 100 mg
Advilmed 100 mg tablets should be swallowed, without being chewed, with a glass of water during a meal, to limit the risks of irritating effects on the stomach.
In children, the usual dosage of an ibuprofen-based medication is 20 to 30 mg/kg/day in 3 doses per day (not exceeding 30 mg/kg/day). Children weighing
20 to 30 kg: 2 tablets, to be repeated if necessary after 6 hours. In all cases, do not exceed 6 tablets per day, or 600 mg of ibuprofen per day.
These recommended doses should not be exceeded and the duration of treatment should not exceed 3 days. If symptoms persist or worsen, you should consult a doctor.
Be sure to respect the 6-hour delay between each dose, and it is recommended to use the lowest possible dose, and for the shortest duration, necessary to relieve symptoms.
