Compound
Active ingredient: calcium dobesilate monohydrate (Calcii dobesilas monohidricus).
1 tablet contains 500 mg of calcium dobesylate monohydrate.
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, potato starch, lactose monohydrate, talc, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, Opadry II57U18539 White coating containing: hypromellose, polydextrose, titanium dioxide (E 171), talc, maltodextrin, medium chain triglycerides.
Dosage
Usual doses of Dobenox Forte for adults are:
Venous insufficiency – 1–2 tablets per day;
Anal varicose veins – 1-2 tablets per day.
The medicine should be taken after meals.
Action
Calcium dobesilate affects both the condition of blood vessels and the rheological properties of blood. It tightens blood vessels and increases their elasticity. By affecting platelets and plasma fibrinogen concentrations, it reduces blood viscosity. Thanks to these actions, blood flows more easily through the vessels and the tendency to edema is reduced.
Indications
Dobenox Forte is used:
Symptomatic treatment of chronic insufficiency of venous circulation of the lower extremities (pain and night cramps in the legs, a feeling of heaviness in the legs, paresthesia, swelling, skin changes due to blood stagnation), varicose veins of the lower extremities.
Symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids.
Contraindications
Do not use if you are allergic to calcium dobesilate monohydrate or any other ingredients of this medication.”
