Active ingredient: hydrocortisone acetate (Hydrocortisoni acetas).
1 g of cream contains 5 mg of hydrocortisone acetate.
Excipients: cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, propylene glycol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, macrogol cetostearyl ether, liquid paraffin, sorbitan stearate, white petrolatum, purified water.
Hydrocortisone cream – how to use?
Always use this medication exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
The drug is intended for external, local use on the skin.
Do not apply cream to healthy skin and large surfaces of the body.
Apply the cream in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin 2-3 times a day.
Do not use on the face for more than 3 days.
How does Aflofarm Hydrocortisone cream work?
Hydrocortisone Aflofarm has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and vasoconstrictor properties.
Hydrocortisone cream Aflofarm – indications
Local treatment:
atopic dermatitis (AD),
lupus erythematosus, erythema multiforme,
seborrheic dermatitis,
illnesses after insect bites,
lichen planus with severe itching,
peeling of the scalp, long-term psoriasis,
first and second degree burns (including sunburn).
Hydrocortisone cream Aflofarm – contraindications
When should you not use Hydrocortisone Aflofarm:
if you are allergic (hypersensitivity) to the active substance or any other ingredient of the drug,
if you have fungal, viral or bacterial dermatitis, including systemic mycosis,
for rosacea and acne vulgaris,
with skin atrophy,
with inflammation of the skin around the mouth,
for open wounds, damaged skin,
for cancer or precancerous conditions,
with lesions – tuberculation of the skin.”
