“Active Ingredients:
Each Ananase tablet contains: active ingredient bromelain 40 mg (equal to 40 U.P.F.U.).
Excipients: lactose; sucrose.
Excipients:

Contraindications/side effects:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. The product is contraindicated in patients with hemophilia and hemorrhagic diathesis, as in the case of severe hepato- and nephropathy; peptic ulcer. Due to the presence of lactose among the ingredients of Ananase, patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine. Due to the presence of sucrose among the ingredients of Ananase, patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose/galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isolattasi deficiency should not take this medicine.
Dosage:
Adults take 1 tablet, four times daily. 1 tablet, 2-3 times a day – as maintenance therapy. The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole, preferably on an empty stomach. Experience in children is limited; Until sufficient data on safety and effectiveness are available, the use of the drug should be limited to adult patients.

This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Warnings:
In pregnant women and children, use only if really necessary and under the direct supervision of a physician. It is recommended to monitor blood coagulation parameters in patients with hemophilia and bleeding diathesis. Bromelain should be used with extreme caution in patients with severe liver disease or renal failure. The appearance of manifestations of hypersensitivity of various types and locations suggests cessation of treatment and establishment of suitable therapy. Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medicine. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomatase deficiency should not take this medicine.
Interactions:
The association of ANANASE with anticoagulants often requires adequate dosage adjustment.
Side effects:
Cases of nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and, rarely, cases of menorrhagia and metrorrhagia have been reported. Sometimes allergic skin situations, erythema, itching and, in rare cases, asthma attacks may occur.
Overdose:
There are no known cases of accidental or intentional overdose in humans resulting in toxic symptoms.
