Active ingredient: soybean extract (Glycine max semen extractum siccum).
Each film-coated tablet contains 230.8 mg of Glycine max L. (soybean) sperm extract (as dry extract) (100–400:1), corresponding to 60 mg of the isoflavone complex expressed as genistein.
Solvent used for extraction: ethanol 60-70% (v/v).
Excipients: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone type A, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate. Tablet shell: hypromellose, hydroxypropylcellulose, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 6000.
Dosage
Medicine for oral use.
Take the medicine with food.
The tablet has a notch that makes it easier to crush and swallow.
Do not use longer than 2 years.
Women: 1-2 tablets 2 times a day, morning and evening.
Action
Soyfem contains soybean extract, which is based on isoflavones and soy proteins. Isoflavones (genistein, daidzein) bind to estrogen receptors, but this effect is weaker compared to endogenous estrogens.
Indications
The drug can be used in women during menopause to relieve symptoms such as hot flashes, excessive sweating, sleep disturbances, feelings of nervous tension and anxiety.
Contraindications
You should not use Soyfem: if you are allergic to soy, soybean oil, peanuts, or any other ingredients of this medicine; during pregnancy and lactation.”
