The drug Brulex is a protective and soothing skin ointment, based on zinc oxide . It is used in the adjunctive treatment of minor superficial burns .

Phenol……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. 30.0mg
Sodium salicylate…………………………………………………………………………………………………… 3.6mg
Peruvian balsam…………………………………………………………………………………………………… 1.0g
The other ingredients are: glycerol, sodium carbonate decahydrate, sodium benzoate, levomenthol, purified water, alcohol, wool fat, petroleum jelly.
Brulex Ointment Dosage
The dosage is 1 to 2 applications per day by cutaneous route.
Beware of the risk of overdose with a risk of neurological accident such as convulsions in infants and children and possibility of agitation and confusion in elderly subjects.
