Areas of application
This is an antiallergic drug.
The drug is indicated for adults and children over 6 years of age for:
Relief of nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergic rhinitis.
Relief of urticaria (hives).
Dosage
Use in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age.
Recommended dose: 10 mg once a day, 1 tablet.
Use in children from 6 to 12 years of age.
Recommended dose: 5 mg twice daily, half a tablet twice daily.
Use in patients with renal impairment
For patients with moderate renal impairment, it is recommended to take 5 mg once daily.
Contraindications
Do not take this medicine
if you have severe kidney disease and require dialysis;
if you are allergic to cetirizine, any other ingredient in this medicine, hydroxyzine or other piperazine derivatives (closely related active ingredients in other medicines).”
