ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg cetirizine dicloridra to. Excipients: Tablet core: lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized corn starch, povidone K29/32, magnesium stearate. Compressor coating: talc, titanium dioxide (E171), hypromellose 5cP (E464), macrogol 40 0. INDICATIONS: Cetirizine is indicated in adults and children from 6 years of age for the treatment of symptoms of nasal and ocular allergic rhinitis, seasonal and persistent ; for symptomatic treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria. CONTRAINDICATIONS/EFF.SECONDARY: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients or to hydroxyzine or any piperazine derivatives. Patients with severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min. DOSAGE: Children aged 6 to 12 years: 5 mg twice daily (half a tablet twice daily). Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 mg once daily (one tablet). Elderly and: Data do not suggest a need to reduce the dose, in the elderly with normal renal function. Pediatric Population: Use of the drug in film-coated tablets is not recommended in children under 6 years of age because such formulation does not allow adequate dose adaptation.
