The drug Transvercid 12 mm from the Ducray laboratory is indicated in the local treatment of common warts , in particular multiple and/or large warts (including plantar warts ). 8 dressings of 12 mm are available in the box. Salicylic acid dosed at 14.54 mg is the active ingredient of Transvercid. The other ingredients are: sterculia gum, propylene glycol, macrogol 300, N-(3-chloroallyl) chloride, hexaminium (quaternium 15).
Dosage of Transvercid plantar wart patch
Transvercid is an external device that is left on overnight, i.e. 8 hours, and removed in the morning.
The dressing is reapplied every evening until the wart disappears. Treatment with Transvercid should not exceed one month.
The dressing is applied in the evening before bedtime after first soaking the wart in warm water to soften it. Then the wart is lightly filed and cleaned with soap and water.
The blue protective film appears on the upper part of the device and the active surface is the one in contact with the transparent support tab that is applied to the skin.
The device will be held in place using one of the adhesive joint strips in the packaging.
In the event of an overdose, you are exposed to the risk of burns.
