The active ingredient is nifuroxazide (Nifuroxazidum).
1 tablet contains nifuroxazide 100 mg.
Excipients: potato starch, povidone, magnesium stearate and shell (Opadry II HP 85F22064 Yellow) containing: polyvinyl alcohol, macrogol 3350, quinoline yellow aluminum varnish E104, talc, titanium dioxide, sunset yellow E110, indigo carmine aluminum varnish E132.
Dosage
Adults: 800 mg per day in 2–4 divided doses.
Children over 6 years of age: 600–800 mg per day in 2–4 divided doses.
Do not use for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
Action
Nifuroxazide has antibacterial activity against most bacteria that cause intestinal infections. Does not disturb the correct microbiological balance of the digestive tract. Nifuroxazide acts quickly, only in the intestinal lumen, is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, and does not have a systemic effect. It is quickly eliminated from the body.
Indications
