Application areas
The solution is used once for disinfection of intact external skin areas or mucous membrane antiseptics, such as: B. before operations, biopsy, injections, punctures, blood sampling and bladder catheterization.
The solution is used repeatedly, for a limited time, for antiseptic treatment of wounds (e.g. bedsores, leg ulcers) with burns, infected and superinfected skin diseases, as well as for surgical disinfection of hands.
Dosage
The drug can be used one or more times a day. For repeated use, the frequency and duration of use depend on the area of application.
Recommended dose (unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor):
The solution is intended for external use undiluted and in dilutions.
Ordinary tap water is suitable for dilution. If approximate isotonicity is desired, normal saline or Ringer’s solution can be used for dilution.
Dilutions should always be fresh and used as soon as possible.
Use undiluted for:
Disinfection of the skin or antisepsis of the mucous membranes (e.g. before surgical procedures, biopsies, injections, punctures, blood samples, bladder catheterization)
For skin devoid of sebaceous glands, the exposure time is at least 1 minute before injections, punctures and blood sampling and at least 3 minutes before surgical interventions.
For skin rich in sebaceous glands, the exposure time is at least 10 minutes. The skin should be kept moist with the undiluted preparation during the entire exposure time.
When disinfecting the skin before surgery, avoid accumulation of fluid under the patient due to possible skin irritation.
Surgical hand disinfection: Exposure time 5 minutes. Hands should be moistened with undiluted preparation for the entire exposure time.
Antiseptic treatment of wounds
Antiseptic surface therapy of burn wounds
The following dilutions are recommended for:

Antiseptic washes: 1:2 to 1:25.
Antiseptic partial baths approx.
Antiseptic full baths approx.
