Ibuprofen Viatris oral suspension is a medicine containing ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It is intended for infants and children aged 3 months to 12 years (approximately 30 kg). It is indicated to treat pain (headaches, dental pain, aches), flu syndrome . It is also used in the treatment of chronic juvenile arthritis.
This medicine contains 20.0 mg of ibuprofen per ml of oral suspension. The other constituents are sodium benzoate, anhydrous citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium saccharin, sodium chloride, hypromellose, xanthan gum, liquid maltitol, strawberry flavor, azorubin ( E122), glycerol and purified water.
