“Iodisol solution is a highly effective antiseptic and disinfectant containing povidone iodinate.
Iodizol solution can be used by children, adolescents and adults.
Iodizole solution is used for:
1) superficial disinfection of the skin before minor procedures (injections, punctures, etc.);
2) Preparation of the surgical field;
3) Treatment of difficult teething;
4) Treatment after removal of tonsils.
In the above cases, the product is always used by a doctor.
Without consulting a doctor, Iodisol solution is used:
1) for hand disinfection;
2) Treatment of minor skin damage (tears);
3) Treatment of herpes;
4) Treatment of inflammation of the oral mucosa;
5) Treatment after an insect bite.
In undiluted form, the drug is used to treat minor skin lesions, insect bites, disinfection of hands and the surgical field.
The product, diluted with water in a ratio of 1:20, is used for compresses, rinses and rinses.
Application:
Yodisol solution is intended for cutaneous use in undiluted and diluted form.
The undiluted solution is applied directly to the area to be treated (for example, using a cotton swab) and is used to treat minor skin lesions, insect bites, and to disinfect hands and the surgical site.
A solution diluted with water in a ratio of up to 1:20 is used to prepare compresses, rinse or gargle (for example, for inflammation of the oral mucosa).
The drug should always be freshly diluted and used immediately.
Iodizol solution is usually applied to the treated area one to three times a day.
The full effect of the drug occurs within 1 minute after use.
Duration of treatment:
Wound care should continue until all signs of infection (eg, redness, swelling, pain or tenderness, pus in the wound) or risk of infection of the wound edges have disappeared. Do not use Yodisol solution for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor. If symptoms at the wound site do not improve or worsen within 3 days, seek medical attention.
If after treatment with Iodizol solution the wound becomes infected again, treatment can be resumed.
