Dolortriptan® should only be used for acute migraine attacks, not for prophylactic purposes. Dolortriptan should be taken as soon as possible after the onset of a migraine attack.
Dolortriptan® for migraine is only suitable for adults aged 18 to 65 years.
The recommended dose is one Dolortriptan® tablet containing 12.5 mg almotriptan. If another attack occurs within the next 24 hours, a second tablet can be taken. Please take the second tablet only if the first tablet has relieved your symptoms and at least 2 hours have passed between doses.
Take the Dolortriptan® tablet with a glass of water. Consumption does not depend on when you eat.”
