Neosynephrine 2.5% eye drops from Faure laboratory are a solution in single-dose containers that act on the eye by increasing the size of the pupil, i.e. it is mydriatic.
This eye drop will be prescribed during a diagnosis, eye treatment or eye surgery. The active ingredient is phenylephrine .
Dosage of Neosynephrine 2.5% in single doses
For adults, a drop of product will be instilled which can be renewed if necessary by your doctor, not exceeding 3 drops. Knowing that mydriasis is obtained after 15 to 20 minutes.
In adolescents 12 to 18 years old, do not exceed 2 drops.
And for babies and children under 12 years old, a single drop will be enough.
To administer single doses, be sure to wash your hands beforehand, the tip of the single dose must not touch the eye or eyelids, the single dose must not be reused and must be thrown away after each use.
