Nicotinell works on the basis of nicotine, a substance that you also absorb from tobacco in cigarettes. When you suck on the tablets, the nicotine contained in them is slowly released and absorbed into the body through the mucous membrane of the oral cavity. Thus, the withdrawal symptoms that usually occur when quitting smoking are significantly reduced.
Dosage and administration
Place the lozenge in your mouth and suck until the strong taste appears. Now take a break (just leave the tablet between your gums and cheek) until the taste subsides, then turn it over in your mouth again. Using this method, it takes about 30 minutes for the tablet to completely dissolve.
Take a lozenge every time you feel the urge to smoke. If you take it every 1-2 hours, you should get by with 8-12 tablets during the day.
