“Indications for use of Sudafed Xylospray for children
Sudafed XyloSpray Aerosol for Children is used for the short-term treatment of nasal or sinus congestion with watery nasal discharge that occurs due to a cold or sinusitis.
Active ingredient: Xylometazoline hydrochloride.

1 ml of solution contains 0.5 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride. One dose (0.007 ml) of Sudafed Xylospray for children contains 35 mcg (or 0.035 mg) of xylometazoline hydrochloride.

disodium edetate, sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dihydrate, liquid sorbitol, non-crystallizing, benzalkonium chloride, solution, purified water.
How to use Sudafed Xylospray for children?
Dosage of Sudafed Xylospray in children aged 2 to 12 years:
Unless your doctor or pharmacist tells you otherwise, use one dose of Sudafed Xylospray for Children in each nostril up to 3 times daily for no more than 7 days.
To minimize the risk of spreading infections, the medication package should not be used by more than one person, and the applicator should be washed after each use.
This medicine should NOT be used in children younger than 2 years of age.
When should you not use Sudafed XyloSpray on children?
If you are allergic to xylometazoline or any other ingredient of this medicine;
if you have increased intraocular pressure, especially with narrow-angle glaucoma;
if you have chronic rhinitis (long-term irritation of the nose) with little or no discharge (dry rhinitis);
if you are taking or have taken monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO inhibitors) in the last two weeks;
if you are taking other medicines that may cause high blood pressure;
if you have inflammation caused by hypersensitivity of the blood vessels in the nose;
if you have inflammation associated with a decrease in the thickness of the nasal mucosa, with or without discharge;
if you have had brain surgery through your nose or mouth.”
