“The drug dilutes deposited secretions and makes them easier to expectorate. Drops can be used in children over 2 years of age.
compound
The active ingredient of the drug is Bromhexine hydrochloride (Bromhexini hydrochloridum).
1 ml of solution – 20 drops contains 2 mg of bromhexine hydrochloride.
excipients: propyl parahydroxybenzoate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, ethanol 96%, hydrochloric acid 0.1 N, purified water.
dosage
This medicine should always be used exactly as described in the patient leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Administer drops orally at regular intervals after meals.
do not give in the evening (before bedtime).
Without a medical examination, the drug can be used for up to 5 days.
children aged 2 to 6 years: 20 to 25 drops 3 times a day.

Bromhexine causes a decrease in the viscosity of deposited secretions due to a direct effect on mucus and stimulation of glandular cells. These cells are stimulated to produce a less sticky form of mucus. In addition, the drug stimulates the function of the ciliary epithelium.
