“Composition
The active substance of the drug is benzydamine hydrochloride (Benzydamini Hydrochloridum).
1 ml of the drug contains 1.5 mg of the active substance, while one dose has a volume of 0.17 ml and provides 255 mcg of benzydamine hydrochloride.
Excipients: glycerin, sodium saccharin, sodium bicarbonate, ethanol 96%, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, polysorbate 20, mint flavoring (fresh mint flavoring 506041T), purified water.
Dosage
Uniben is used locally by spraying on the mucous membrane of the mouth and / or throat. Treatment should not last more than 7 days, unless your doctor advises otherwise. If symptoms such as sore throat, difficulty swallowing saliva or fever worsen or do not go away after a few days of using Uniben, consult a doctor.
Age Dosage
Children under 6 years old 1 dose of the drug per 4 kg of body weight, applied 2 to 6 times a day,
maximum daily dose (regardless of body weight) – 4 doses,
Children from 6 to 12 years old 4 doses at a time, 2 to 6 times a day,
Adolescents over 12 years old and adults: 4-8 doses at a time, 2 to 6 times a day.
Doses of Uniben cannot be divided.
Action
Uniben contains benzydamine, which belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), so in addition to the anti-inflammatory effect, it also has an analgesic effect. The aerosol also relieves pain and disinfects the mucous membrane at the injection site.
Indications
The indication for the use of Uniben is the treatment of local symptoms accompanying acute inflammation of the mouth and throat.
Contraindications
Uniben should not be used by people with hypersensitivity to benzydamine hydrochloride or any other ingredient of this medicine.”
