Application areas
The drug is a herbal medicine intended for use in mild nervous tension and sleep disorders.
Dosage
The recommended dose is
for adolescents aged 12 years and over and adults:
For the treatment of mild nervous tension: 10-12 film-coated tablets 1-3 times daily (equivalent to approximately 2 g of valerian root each).
For the treatment of sleep disorders, take 10-12 film-coated tablets (equivalent to approximately 2 g of valerian root) ½-1 hour before bedtime. If necessary, you can take another 10-12 film-coated tablets (equivalent to approximately 2 g of valerian root) earlier in the evening.
Maximum daily dose: 48 film-coated tablets.
It is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.
Duration of use
Due to the gradual onset of effect, valerian root is not
suitable for the acute treatment of mild nervous tension and sleep disorders. For optimal treatment success, it is recommended to continue treatment continuously for 2-4 weeks.
Contraindications
The drug should not be taken if you are allergic to dry valerian root extract or any other ingredient in this medicine.”
