Areas of application
The drug is a laxative.
The dragee is used for constipation, for diseases that require easier bowel movements, as well as for bowel movements during treatment and for diseases (therapeutic and diagnostic measures) on the intestines.
Like other laxatives, it should not be taken daily or for a long period of time without a medical examination of the cause of constipation.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the usual dose is:
for adults and children over 10 years old:
1-2 dragees (equivalent to 5-10 mg bisacodyl) once in the evening;
for children from 2 to 10 years old:
1 tablet (equivalent to 5 mg bisacodyl) once in the evening.
It is recommended to start with the minimum dosage. The dose can be increased to the maximum recommended dose to ensure regular bowel movements. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose of 1-2 tablets (for adults and children aged 10 years and over) or 1 tablet (for children aged 2 to 10 years).
Oral administration results in bowel movement in approximately 6-12 hours.
For bowel movement during treatment and disease detection (therapeutic and diagnostic measures) on the intestine, as well as for diseases requiring easier bowel movement, it should be taken as prescribed by a doctor.
