“Acylpyrine + C belongs to a group of drugs called analgesics and antipyretics. Acetylsalicylic acid relieves pain and reduces temperature.
Ascorbic acid supports the body’s defense reactions and accelerates the overcoming of influenza diseases.
Acylpyrine + C may be used to reduce fever, relieve pain from flu and colds, and suppress mild to moderate pain (such as headaches, toothaches, back pain, and menstrual pain) without consulting a doctor.
Consultation with a doctor is necessary for pain in the joints and muscles (except for flu or back pain), as well as for pain of nerve origin.
Adults and young people aged 16 years and older can take the drug without consulting a doctor. Children and adolescents under 16 years of age should take acetylsalicylic acid only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Acylpyrine + C should be taken after meals. Dissolve the effervescent tablet in a glass of water and drink.
The product contains lactose. If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
One dose of the drug contains 10.713 mmol (= 246.4 mg) sodium. Should be taken into account in patients on a low sodium diet.
This medicine contains less than 1 mmol (39 mg) potassium per dose, i.e. practically does not contain potassium.
Dosage:
Adults and adolescents 16 years of age and older take 1 tablet once, unless otherwise advised by a physician.
If necessary, the dose can be repeated at intervals of 4 hours. The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets.
If you do not have a fever within 3 days or no relief or worsening of pain within 5 days, or if side effects or other unusual reactions occur, talk to your doctor about continuing to take ACYLPYRINE + C. Acetylsalicylic acid should not be given to children and adolescents under 16 years of age during a febrile illness.
