“Compound
1 dose of nasal spray contains:
active ingredient: mometasone furoate (Mometasoni Furoas) 50 mcg,
excipients: benzalkonium chloride, solution, glycerin, polysorbate 80, microcrystalline cellulose and sodium carmellose, citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, purified water.
Action
Reducing swelling and irritation of the nasal mucosa.
Reducing the amount of nasal discharge.
Dosage
Adults: The usual dose is 2 sprays into each nostril once daily.
After improvement, your doctor may reduce the dose to one spray in each nostril once daily.
The medicine should not be used for longer than 3 months without consulting a doctor.
The medicine should not be used in higher doses, more often or for a longer period of time than recommended in the instructions. If you do not feel better or feel worse after 14 days, contact your doctor.
How to use Hitaxa Metmin-Spary Nasal Spray for Hay Fever?
Hitaxa Metmin-Spray includes a cap on the bottle that protects the dispenser tip and prevents contamination.
Shake the bottle gently.
Blow your nose carefully before using the medicine.
To apply medication, place your index and middle fingers on either side of the tip of the dispenser and your thumb on the bottom of the bottle (do not poke the nasal spray dispenser).
Close one nostril and insert the dispenser tip into the other nostril.
Slightly tilt your head forward, holding the bottle vertically upward (the tip of the dispenser should be directed towards the nostril, and not centripetally, i.e. not towards the nasal septum).
It is very important to keep the bottle upright as incorrect spraying can damage the nasal septum.
Begin to inhale gently and slowly through your nose while spraying the nasal spray (in a fine mist) by pressing downward once with your fingers.
Exhale through your mouth.
Then repeat the steps to administer a second spray into the same nostril, if necessary.
Remove the nozzle from your nostril and exhale through your mouth.
Repeat the steps to apply the spray to the other nostril.
After using the spray, thoroughly wipe the dispenser tip with a clean napkin or cloth and close the protective cap to prevent dust from entering.
If the nasal spray has not been used for 14 days or longer, press the pump twice before using it again until a uniform mist is obtained.
Contraindications
Allergy to mometasone furoate or any other component of the drug.
If you have an untreated nasal infection.
If you have recently had nose surgery or have had an injury to your nose (do not use the nasal spray until the wounds have healed).
Mometasone nasal spray is not intended for use in persons under 18 years of age.
