Application: control of head lice when the scalp and hair are infested with human lice (Pediculus humanus)
Directions for use: Before using the product, cover your hands, for example, with a towel. The product should be applied to dry hair and then massage thoroughly until the scalp and hair are completely moisturized. Particular attention should be paid to the neck area and behind the ears. For long and medium-length hair, it is best to apply the product to subsequent strands. The product should be left on the hair for at least 10 minutes. Comb your hair thoroughly with the included comb to completely remove lice and nits. While combing, the comb should be wiped with a napkin. The required amount of SORA med should be calculated individually to ensure complete hydration of the scalp and hair. The required amount depends on both the length and thickness of the hair. Short hair (ear length or shorter) 25–50 ml Medium length hair (shoulder length) 50–75 ml Long hair (below shoulder line) 75–100 ml. To facilitate dosing of the product, there is a marking on the bottle label of SORA med. The volume of liquid between divisions corresponds to approximately 25 ml of product.
Prevent lice re-infestation: Check for lice and nits on all household members or people exposed to the infestation (eg, class, group) over the next 10 days. If the presence of parasites is detected, anti-lice treatment should be carried out. Clothing, bedding, towels and blankets used by an infected person should be washed at a temperature of at least 60°C. Items that cannot be washed or are sensitive to high temperatures should be placed in a plastic bag and left for at least 3 weeks or frozen at a temperature of -15°C to -18°C for a period of min. 24 hours. Hair care products (comb, brush, etc.) should be immersed in hot water at 60°C for 10 minutes. Carpets, furniture and car upholstery should be thoroughly vacuumed and then discarded with the vacuum cleaner bag.
Ingredients: dimethicone (silicone oil) 100%.
Contraindications: do not use if you are hypersensitive to dimethicone or any of the ingredients of SORA med shampoo. If allergic reactions occur, stop using the products included and consult a physician. Dimethicone may cause skin irritation resulting in itching or redness. They are usually mild and temporary. The products included in the set are intended for external use on the scalp only. They should not be used in the eyes, nose, ears or mouth. Products included may cause mild eye irritation. In case of accidental contact with eyes or mouth, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, consult a doctor or ophthalmologist. In the case of children under one year of age, the use of the product must be agreed with a doctor. If you experience any symptoms not listed in the instructions, contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately. The products included in the kit are not known to interact with medications or other medical devices, but they should not be used at the same time as others.
