In case of severe paresthesia, diabetic polyneuropathy is used. For adults. infusion of 1 ampoule (corresponding to 600 mg alpha-lipoic acid) in isotonic saline once a day is recommended.
After the contents have been mixed with 250 ml of isotonic saline, the intravenous administration should last at least 30 minutes, as a short infusion is performed. Due to the photosensitivity of the active ingredient, the short infusion should be prepared shortly before use. The infusion solution must be protected from light with aluminum foil. Store the infusion solution protected from light for about 6 hours. It is necessary to ensure that the minimum infusion time of 30 minutes is observed.
