Indication:
The medicine is an antiallergic drug.
It is used to treat signs (symptoms) of allergic diseases such as chronic urticaria (hives),chronic allergic rhinitis,hay fever with such symptoms,asthmatic conditions of allergic origin.
Dosage:
Always take this medicine exactly as described or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
If you are not sure, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age
10 mg once a day, 1 tablet
Children 6 to 12 years of age
5 mg twice a day, half a tablet twice a day
Patients with moderate to severe renal impairment
Patients with moderate renal impairment are recommended to take 5 mg once a day.
Patients with severe renal impairment are recommended to take 5 mg once every 2 days.
Contraindications:
You should not take this medicine if:
You are allergic to cetirizine, hydroxyzine or other piperazine derivatives (similar active ingredients in other medicines) or any other ingredients of this medicine.
You have severe kidney disease (severe renal impairment with creatinine clearance less than 10 ml/min).”
