Lactovaginal vaginal capsules – how to use?
The usual dose of Lactovaginal for women and girls over 16 years of age is: 1–2 capsules per day (vaginally, one in the morning, one in the evening) for 1 week.

Lactovaginal vaginal capsules – how do they work?
Lactovaginal works by breaking down compounds found in the vagina by the bacteria Lactobacillus rhamnosus into lactic acid, resulting in a properly acidic reaction (pH 4.0-4.7). An acidic environment inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria.
Lactovaginal in the case of previous treatment of vaginal inflammation with antibacterial, antitrichomoniacal and antifungal drugs leads to a decrease in the number of pathogens, restoration of the natural microbiological balance in the vagina and normalization of vaginal discharge.
Lactovaginal vaginal capsules – indications
Lactovaginal is used to restore or supplement the normal bacterial flora of the vagina.
Indications for use of the drug are:
inflammation of the reproductive organs, especially after treatment with antibacterial, antitrichomoniacal or antifungal drugs;
vaginal discharge;
prevention.
Probiotic preparations with live cultures of Lactobacillus bacteria are indicated in cases of disturbance of the bacterial flora of the vagina, caused, for example, by antibiotic therapy, stress, hormonal changes or poor hygiene and sexual habits.
Lactovaginal vaginal capsules – contraindications
Do not use if the patient is allergic to any of the ingredients of the drug.
Store the drug at a temperature of 2–8°C (in the refrigerator). During the shelf life, the medicine can be stored outside the refrigerator, at temperatures up to 25°C, for a limited period – up to 4 weeks.
