Functions:
Panadol contains as an active substance. By inhibiting the activity of prostaglandin cyclooxygenase in the central nervous system, it has an analgesic and antipyretic effect.
is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, reaching maximum concentration in the blood after approximately 30-60 minutes. When used as directed, it does not irritate the gastric mucosa and does not have a negative effect on kidney function.
Use:
Shake the bottle before use. The speed and effectiveness of the drug depend, among other things: on the exact dosage. A dosing cup is included in the delivery set. The dosage is individual and is determined depending on the child’s body weight (according to the percentile table).
Panadol should be used no more frequently than every 4 hours and no more than 4 doses per day (60 mg paracetamol/kg body weight/day). In children under 3 months of age, use only as directed by a doctor. Do not use more than the recommended single dose.
Important information:
The syrup should not be used by children under 3 months of age. The drug is not recommended for use in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to or its other components. Not recommended for severe liver or kidney failure. Do not use syrup at the same time as other medicines containing paracetamol. An overdose of can cause liver and sometimes kidney failure. Antidote: N-acetylcysteine.
Compound:
Active ingredient: paracetamol. 5 ml of oral suspension contains 120 mg of paracetamol.
Excipients: malic acid, azorubine, xanthan gum, liquid malitol, strawberry flavor, sorbitol 70% (crystallizing), sodium nipasept, sorbitol, anhydrous citric acid, purified water. The medicine contains sorbitol and liquid malitol.”
