Active ingredient: troxerutin (Troxerutinum).
1 g of gel contains 20 mg of troxerutin.
Excipients: carbomer, sodium hydroxide, ethyl parahydroxybenzoate, bronopol, purified water.
Dosage
Medicine for use on the skin.
Use 3 times a day for 2-3 weeks.
Apply a thin layer of the gel to the skin in areas suffering from venous insufficiency, swelling and a feeling of heaviness. Gently massage until the gel is absorbed.
Action
Troxerutin contained in Rutoven has a protective effect on blood vessels, maintaining their appropriate elasticity and reducing their permeability.
Indications
chronic venous insufficiency and its symptoms,
swelling of the legs,
feeling of heaviness in the legs,
tingling sensation.
Contraindications
When you should not use Rutoven:
if you are allergic to the active substance or other ingredients of the drug.
Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.
Frequency unknown:
redness of the skin, urticaria (in people sensitive to troxerutin).
Warnings and Precautions
The gel is valid for 6 months after first opening.
Do not use on damaged skin.
The product contains ethyl parahydroxybenzoate and may therefore cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed reactions).
The product also contains Bronopol, which may cause local skin irritation (contact dermatitis) in sensitive people.
Do not store at temperatures above 25°C.
Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
