Applications
These painkillers contain the active ingredient ibuprofen in the form of ibuprofen-DL-lysine (1:1).
The drug is an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory agent (NSAID/NSAID).
Painkillers are used:
mild to moderate pain, such as headache, toothache, menstrual pain.
High temperature.
For use in children weighing 20 kg or more (6 years and older), adolescents and adults.
Dosage
The recommended dose is:
Body weight (age): 20 – 29 kg (children: 6 – 9 years)
Single dose: 1 film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum total daily dose: 3 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 600 mg ibuprofen).
Body weight (age): 30 – 39 kg (children: 10 – 11 years)
Single dose: 1 film-coated tablet (equivalent to 200 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum total daily dose: 4 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 800 mg ibuprofen).
Body weight (age): >/= 40 kg (young people aged 12 years and over and adults)
Single dose: 1-2 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 200-400 mg ibuprofen).
Maximum total daily dose: 6 film-coated tablets (equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen).
These painkillers are prescribed to children and adolescents depending on body weight, usually 7 to 10 mg/kg body weight as a single dose, up to a maximum of 30 mg/kg body weight as a total daily dose.
If necessary, wait at least 6 hours before taking the next dose.
Do not take more than recommended.
Dosage in the elderly
No special dosage adjustment is required.
Duration of use
For short-term use only.
Children and adolescents
In children and adolescents, if you need to take the medicine for more than 3 days or if your symptoms get worse, you should seek medical advice.
Adult
Ask your doctor if you need to take these painkillers for more than 3 days because of a fever, for more than 4 days for pain relief, or if your symptoms get worse.
Contraindications
You should not take this medicine
if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients in this medicine.
if you have had shortness of breath, asthma attacks, swelling of the mucous membranes of the nose, swelling of the skin and mucous membranes (Quincke’s edema), or skin reactions when taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
if you have unexplained blood disorders.
if you have a history of existing or recurrent stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding (at least 2 different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding).
if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or gastrointestinal perforation after taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
if you have bleeding in the brain (cerebrovascular bleeding) or other active bleeding.
if you have severe liver or kidney dysfunction.
if you have severe heart failure (heart failure).
if there is a severe lack of water in the body (dehydration), caused by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake.
in the last trimester of pregnancy.
in children under 20 kg (6 years) due to too high a content of the active substance.”
