“COMPOSITION:
The active substance of the drug is ascorbic acid in an amount of 100 mg in 1 ml.
The other ingredients (excipients) are: glycerol, purified water.
Pharmaceutical form: oral drops, solution.
1 ml of solution corresponds to approximately 20 drops (the package is equipped with a dropper).
One package contains 40 ml of solution.
Indications for use: The Juvit C medicinal product is intended for the treatment of vitamin C deficiency states and the prevention of diseases caused by vitamin C deficiency, primarily scurvy and its initial symptoms, Moeller-Barlow disease, during the convalescence period, when using a diet low in vitamin C, especially in artificially fed infants. The product is especially recommended for children. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance – ascorbic acid or to any of the excipients. Do not administer high doses to children with excessive absorption of iron from the gastrointestinal tract. Dosage
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, the recommended dose of Juvit C is:
infants and small children (from 28 days of age to the end of 24 months of age): 5-8 drops once a day added to food or drink.
children (from 3 to 11 years of age): 10 drops once a day.
adolescents (from 12 years of age) and adults: 15-20 drops once a day (in case of greater demand and in case of deficiency, the dose can be doubled and taken twice a day).
The medicine can be added to a drink or food.”
