Side effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Stop taking Levosol and seek medical help immediately if you experience any of the following symptoms:

Tell your doctor immediately if you experience any of these side effects as they may have life-threatening consequences.
Very rarely (less than 1 in 10,000 people) occur:
– hives, erythema, rash, itching, angioedema (swelling usually occurring in the face or throat, which may be life-threatening), skin reactions;
– stomach pain, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea;
– allergic reactions, including immediate general feeling of being unwell;
– dizziness, balance disorders, tremors, tingling, numbness;
– palpitations, tachycardia, low blood pressure;
– irritability, drowsiness, depersonalization (disturbed perception of oneself and the surroundings);

– dilated pupils and loss of vision. In both cases, the symptoms disappeared after discontinuation of the drug.
– cases of eyelid swelling, most of which can be considered angioedema, given the concurrent occurrence of urticaria;
– drowsiness, decreased muscle tone and vomiting in the newborn, which was attributed to the entry into the child’s body of levodropropizine taken by the breastfeeding mother. The symptoms appeared after feeding and disappeared spontaneously after several feedings were missed.
