Active ingredients:
Saccharomyces boulardii 4500000000 microbes
Saccharomyces boulardii, dry yeast. 250 mg
Excipients:
Lactose-1-water, Magnesium stearate, gelatin, sodium dodecyl sulfate, titanium dioxide
Areas of application
The drug is a medicinal product containing 50 mg of dry yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae HANSEN CBS 5926 (also known in medical language as Saccharomyces boulardii), which should be taken for diarrhea and acne.
The drug is used for:
Treatment of symptoms of acute diarrheal diseases.
Prevention and treatment of symptoms of traveler’s diarrhea and diarrhea during tube feeding.
concomitant treatment of chronic forms of acne.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the usual dose for children aged 2 years and over and adults is:
For the treatment of acute diarrhea, 1 capsule 1-2 times daily (equivalent to 250-500 mg dry yeast Saccharomyces boulardii daily).
For the prevention of traveller’s diarrhea, starting 5 days before departure, 1 capsule 1-2 times daily (equivalent to 250-500 mg dry yeast Saccharomyces boulardii daily).
For diarrhea caused by tube feeding, take the contents of 3 capsules daily in 1.5 litres of nutrient solution (equivalent to 750 mg dry yeast Saccharomyces boulardii daily).
for acne 1 capsule 3 times a day (equivalent to 750 mg of dry yeast Saccharomyces boulardii per day)
Contraindications
The medicine should not be taken
if you are allergic to yeast or any other ingredients of this medicine.
if you have a central venous catheter.
in immunocompromised or hospitalized patients (due to severe illness or impaired/weakened immune system).
Infants and young children under 2 years of age should always exclude self-medication, as diarrhea in infants and young children under 2 years of age requires consultation with a doctor.”
