Application area
This medicine is used to relieve nicotine withdrawal symptoms if you are addicted to nicotine and want to quit smoking.
Dosage
Dosage for adults and the elderly
Chew one chewing gum every time you feel the urge to smoke. As a rule, 1 chewing gum should be chewed every 1-2 hours, but not more than 1 chewing gum per hour. Usually 8-12 pieces per day are enough. If you still feel the urge to smoke, you can chew more gum. However, do not exceed 15 pieces of the product per day.
The duration of use is individual. Usually, treatment should last at least 3 months. After 3 months, you should gradually reduce the number of chewing gums you chew each day. Use should be stopped when you have managed to reduce the dose to 1-2 chewing gums per day. In general, use of the drug for more than 6 months is not recommended. However, to avoid relapse, some former smokers may need longer use.
