The active ingredient of the drug is dimethindene maleate (Dimetindeni Maleas).
1 g of gel contains 1 mg of dimethindene maleate (Dimetindeni Maleas).
Excipients: carbomer (type 974 P), disodium edetate, sodium hydroxide, propylene glycol, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.
Dosage
The drug is intended for application to the skin.
Foxil is usually used 2 to 4 times a day. Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected skin.
Action
Foxill has a local antiallergic effect, has a pronounced antipruritic effect (excluding cholestatic itching), reduces swelling and soothes skin irritations. It has local anesthetic properties. It is cooling, which further soothes irritated skin. The gel is quickly absorbed into the skin.
Indications
Foxil is used to relieve itching associated with: skin diseases, urticaria, insect bites, sunburn, superficial skin burns (first degree).
Contraindications
You should not use Foxill if you are allergic to dimethindene maleate or any of the ingredients of this medicine. and for second and third degree burns.”
