Mukozolvan cough syrup 30 mg/5 ml expectorant is used for respiratory diseases accompanied by the release of thick, stuck mucus. A typical disease is a mucous cough. This can be recognized by the characteristic sound when mucus is released from the respiratory tract when coughing.
Dosage
Children under 2 years of age can take Mukozolvan cough syrup only on the recommendation of a doctor. The usual dosage: take 1.25 ml of solution twice a day.
Children 2 to 5 years old: Take 1.25 ml of the solution 3 times a day
Children 6 to 12 years old: Take 2.5 ml of the solution 2 to 3 times a day.
Adults and adolescents 12 years and older: Take 5 ml of the solution 3 times a day for the first 2 to 3 days. Then take 5 ml of the solution twice a day.
If necessary, the effectiveness of the dose for adults and adolescents 12 years and older can be increased by taking 10 ml of the solution twice a day.

Contraindications
This medicine should not be taken
if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active ingredient ambroxol hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.”
