“One tablet contains 64 mg of magnesium ions.
The drug is used for magnesium deficiency accompanied by:
muscle pain,
tics,
muscle tremors,
headache,
states of fatigue,
increased irritability,
decreased resistance to stress,
sleep disorders,
disorders of serum lipid levels,
Cardiac arrhythmia,
acceleration of atherosclerotic changes in blood vessels,
hypertension,
accelerated osteoporosis.
An increase in magnesium loss also occurs when taking diuretics.
Indications
Slow-Mag is used for magnesium deficiency.
Active ingredient: Magnesium chloride.
Compound
One tablet contains:
64 mg magnesium ions.
Shell composition: Eudragit L100-55 (copolymer of methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate 1:1), dibutyl sebacate, talc.
Dosage
Always use this medication exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If you have any doubts, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Recommended dose:
As a preventive measure.
2 tablets per day (1 tablet in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening).
For diagnosed magnesium deficiency:
adults: 6 tablets per day (2 tablets in the morning and 4 tablets in the evening) for 3 weeks, then 3 tablets in the evening;
for children over 6 years old on the recommendation of a doctor.
The tablets should be swallowed whole, without chewing or splitting.
After each use, the container should be tightly closed immediately.
Contraindications
When not to use Slow-Mag
if you are allergic to magnesium chloride or any other ingredients of this medicine;
if there is an increased concentration of magnesium in the blood serum (hypermagnesemia);
if there is significant arterial hypotension or myocardial conduction disturbances;
if you have severe kidney failure or myasthenia gravis (a disease characterized by muscle weakness and fatigue).”
