“Compound:
The active ingredient of the drug is drotaverine hydrochloride.
1 tablet contains 80 mg of drotaverine hydrochloride.
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, pregelatinized corn starch, povidone K 30, magnesium stearate.
Indications:
Spastin Max is used for:
spasmodic conditions of smooth muscles associated with diseases of the biliary tract: cholelithiasis, cholecystitis, pericystitis, inflammation of the bile ducts, inflammation of the ampulla of the biliary tract. Vater;
spasmodic conditions of the smooth muscles of the urinary tract: nephrolithiasis, ureterolithiasis, inflammation of the renal pelvis, cystitis, painful urge to urinate
and additionally:
for spasms of smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract: stomach and duodenal ulcers, gastritis, enteritis, colitis, spasms of the cardia and pylorus, irritable bowel syndrome, spastic constipation and intestinal flatulence, pancreatitis;
for gynecological diseases: dysmenorrhea.
Dosage:
The drug is taken orally.
Recommended dose:
Adults: daily dose is 120–240 mg in 2–3 divided doses. The maximum daily dose of drotaverine is 240 mg (3 tablets).
Children over 12 years of age: daily dose – 160 mg in 2 – 4 divided doses. The maximum daily dose is 160 mg.
The drug can be used for a maximum of 7 days without consulting a doctor.
Use with other drugs:
Tell your doctor about all the medications you have recently taken, even those over-the-counter ones.
Contraindications:
Do not use the medicine:
if you are allergic to drotaverine or any other ingredient of this medicine,
if you have severe liver disease, kidney disease or heart failure,
if the patient has 2-3 degree atrioventricular block
in children under 12 years of age.”
