Scope
The drug is used for short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, with fever.
The drug is especially suitable for pain that cannot be relieved with ibuprofen or paracetamol alone.
Dosage
Do not take for more than 3 days.
Adult
The recommended dose is 1 tablet up to three times a day.
It should be taken with water.
There should be at least 6 hours between doses.
If one tablet does not control symptoms, a maximum of 2 tablets up to three times a day can be taken.
There should be at least 6 hours between doses.
No more than six tablets can be taken in 24 hours (equivalent to 3000 mg paracetamol and 1200 mg ibuprofen per day).
Use in children and adolescents.
Paracetamol/ibuprofen should not be taken by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
Contraindication
You must not take this medicine
if you are allergic to ibuprofen, paracetamol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
if you regularly drink large amounts of alcohol
if you have a history of allergic reactions (such as bronchospasm, angioedema, asthma, runny nose or urticaria) associated with acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAIDs,
if you have or have had an active peptic ulcer (i.e. stomach or duodenal ulcer) or bleeding (at least two separate episodes of proven ulcer or bleeding),
if you have a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation associated with previous treatment with NSAIDs,
if you have a cerebral haemorrhage or other active bleeding,
if you have a blood disorder,
if you suffer from severe cardiac, hepatic or renal disease deficiency,
if you suffer from severe dehydration (due to vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake),
during the last 3 months of pregnancy,
if you are under 18 years of age.”
