Application areas
The preparation is a broad-spectrum fungicidal agent (broad-spectrum antimycotic).
It is used to treat fungal nail diseases (onychomycosis) caused by filamentous fungi and / or other fungi that can be treated with ciclopirox.
The active ingredient ciclopirox prevents the growth of fungi and kills them. This will improve the appearance of your nails.
Dosage
Apply Ciclopoli against nail fungus once a day to the entire nail and surrounding skin and let the varnish dry for about 30 seconds. Wash the nail no earlier than 6 hours later so that the active ingredient can be absorbed. Then the paint residue can be removed with water. They do not require nail polish remover.
Treatment should be continued until symptoms have completely disappeared, i.e. HOURS. until the nails are clean or almost clean again and the nail plate is healthy. It usually takes about 6 months for nails to heal completely, and 9 to 12 months for toenails.
Contraindications
Do not use the medicine if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to ciclopirox. or any other ingredients of this medicine;
in children and adolescents under 18 years of age, since there is not enough experience in this age group.”
