Cyclosan contains hydroxypropyl chitosan (HPCH), which is produced from the natural substance chitin. HPCH binds to the hair keratin and coats the hair with a thin film that protects it from harmful environmental influences.

Use
Cyclosan two to three times a week for four weeks. Then Cyclosan can be used once a week or as needed.
Rub Cyclosan into damp hair and scalp until foam forms. Let it act for 2-3 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Repeat application if necessary.”
