Dexpanthenol

Areas of application
For moisturizing and supporting the healing of damaged eye surfaces, e.g. due to dry eyes or after surgery.
Dosage
The drug should be dosed individually depending on your condition and the recommendations of your ophthalmologist or pharmacist. Usually, 1 drop is instilled into the conjunctival sac of each eye 3 times a day. If symptoms are more severe, the drug can be instilled several times a day. If you use the product more often (e.g. more than 10 times a day), have your eyes examined by an ophthalmologist.
Patient information
Since it does not contain preservatives, this drug is particularly well tolerated even with long-term use. Thus, you can use it for a longer period of time. In very rare isolated cases, hypersensitivity reactions (burning, lacrimation) have been reported, which disappeared immediately after discontinuation.
The product can be used while wearing hard or soft contact lenses. We recommend waiting about 30 minutes after putting on contact lenses before using eye drops to avoid possible intolerance reactions that may occur due to interactions between contact lens care products and the product.
Contraindications
The product should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components.”
