Applications
This medicine is nasal (rhinological) and contains alpha-sympathomimetic oxymetazoline.
Oxymetazoline has vasoconstrictor properties and as a result causes swelling of the mucous membrane. In addition, it has been proven that the active ingredient has antiviral, immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.
It is used for
acute rhinitis (acute rhinitis),
allergic rhinitis (allergic rhinitis) and
periodic rhinitis (vasomotor rhinitis).
To facilitate the outflow of secretions in inflammation of the paranasal sinuses and catarrh of the middle ear in combination with rhinitis.
To diagnose swelling of the mucous membrane.
Dosage:
First blow your nose. Hold the bottle upright and insert the tip into your nostril. Pump vigorously once and briefly inhale the spray mist. Remove the tip from your nostril. Give one spray in each nostril 2-3 times daily. Nazivin® o K nasal spray. Adults and school-age children should not use for more than 7 days with consecutive treatment.
For adults and school-age children from 6 years of age. Bottle 10 ml. Active ingredient: oxymetazoline. Without preservatives.
Notes
Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.
The shelf life of the medicine is 12 months from the date of first opening the package. The medicine must not be used after the expiration date stated on the package.
Contraindications
The medicine must not be used:
if you are allergic to oxymetazoline hydrochloride or any other ingredient of this medicine.
if you suffer from a certain form of chronic cold (dry rhinitis).
after surgical removal of the pituitary gland through the nose (transsphenoidal hypophysectomy) or other surgeries that expose the meninges (dura mater).
in children under 6 years of age.”
