“Indications for use: acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory tract, cough disorders and mucus removal.
Composition: 5 ml of syrup contains 4 mg of the active substance bromoheksyny hydrochloride and excipients: citric acid monohydrate, dextrose monohydrate, glycerin, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, cochineal, raspberry flavor, 96% ethanol, purified water.
Action: diluted by secretions from the respiratory tract; relieves cough, cleanses bronchi.
Dosage: oral, usually using dose: – children aged 7 to 12 years: 5 ml syrup (1 scoop) 3 times a day; – Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 ml of syrup (2 scoops) 3 times a day. The drug should not be taken immediately before bedtime.
Contraindications: hypersensitivity (allergy) to bromhexine or any other medicinal substances; intolerance to certain sugars. Should not be used in children under 7 years of age (this medicine contains alcohol). Not recommended for use in the first trimester of pregnancy and lactation. The drug contains alcohol. Pregnant and lactating women using the drug should consult a doctor or pharmacist. Used with caution in patients with peptic ulcers of the stomach and duodenum, in cases of serious liver or kidney problems. Use caution when driving or operating machinery due to the possibility of drowsiness or pain and dizziness.”
