Compound
Active ingredient: paracetamol (Paracetamolum).
5 ml of suspension contains 120 mg of paracetamol.
Excipients: polysorbate 80, sucrose, xanthan gum, sodium saccharin, sodium benzoate, anhydrous citric acid, red cochineal (E 124), substance that improves the taste of strawberries (AR 0012/F), purified water.
Dosage
Medicine for oral use.
The kit includes a measuring cup.
The dose of the drug is usually determined based on body weight – on average 10-15 mg/kg body weight, the daily dose should not exceed 60 mg/kg body weight/24 hours.
Child’s age Single dose
Children from 3 to 12 months 2.5–5 ml (60–120 mg paracetamol)
Children from 1 to 6 years old 5–10 ml (120–240 mg paracetamol)
Children from 6 to 12 years old 10–20 ml (240–480 mg paracetamol)
The medicine should not be administered more frequently than every 4 hours, up to a maximum of 4 doses per day.
In children under 2 years of age, the drug should be used in consultation with a doctor.
Do not give to children for more than 3 days without consulting a doctor.
Action
Aflofarm paracetamol has analgesic and antipyretic properties.
Indications
fever (accompanied by a cold or flu),
pain of various origins, from mild to moderate intensity: headache, dental pain, pain during teething, after dental and surgical interventions, muscle pain, osteoarticular pain.
Contraindications
When should you not use Paracetamol Aflofarm:
in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any other ingredient of the drug,
if you have been diagnosed with viral hepatitis, severe renal and/or liver failure,
in case of alcoholism.”
