“INDICATIONS: Betadine 10% Gel: Disinfection of injured skin (wounds, trophic ulcers, etc…). Betadine 10% Skin solution, alcohol: Disinfection and cleaning of damaged skin (wounds, trophic ulcers, etc…). Betadine 1% Mouthwash: Treatment of the oral mucosa. Betadine 10% soak into gauze: Disinfection of affected skin (wounds, ulcers).
CONTRAINDICATIONS/EFF.SECONDARY: Hypersensitivity to components. Use with caution in persons with thyroid disease. Do not use by children under 6 m esi. Mouthwash should not be used in children under 6 years of age. Use only in case of real need and under the direct supervision of a physician.
DOSAGE: Betadine 10% Skin Alcohol Solution: Apply directly to the skin for disinfection before, during and after surgery. You can cover the part with bandages and plasters. Apply 2 times a day a layer of brown solution until you get a king coloring intensity of the media; forms a surface film that does not leave stains. INTERACTIONS: Avoid simultaneous use of other antiseptics and detergents. Do not impregnate the treated part, at the same time, with soap or ointment containing mercury or benzoin mixtures.
SIDE EFFECTS: In some cases, burning or irritation in this case stop t reatment. The reaction of iodine with tissues can delay the healing process. May interfere with functional tests you roidea.”
